Film History Course by National Film Archive
Film History Course which is focused on secondary school students and pedagogues has taken its place for the first time in Ponrepo Cinema in the school year 2005 / 2006.
There was a great positive responce from public. The group of its listeners was gradually extended by seniors too, mostly from the University of the Third Age.
The Course consists of 40 lectures about the history of local and international cinematography (from its very beginning till sixties of the 20th century). These lectures are provided by film historians who also prepare study materials for individual films.
Coming September 2009 the Film History Course is going to be held for the fifth time.
