In Ponrepo, sreening hall of the National Film Archive, you can see the most important older but also newer works of both home and foreign cinematography. Besides archive films projection where a card is necessary, selected performances may be attended also as an occasional viewer.
The EU project EFG – the European Film Gateway created a web portal that gives you quick and easy on-line access to currently about 400 000 digital objects – photos, posters, text documents, newsreels, feature films and documentaries – from collections of 16 European film archives and cinémathèques. One of them is Národní filmový archiv. By September 2011, the number of objects will increase to 600 000. See www.europeanfilmgateway.eu
