Duty of offer and Contractual depot
In compliance with the Act No. 273/1993 Coll. has every producer of Czech audiovisual work a duty of offer to NFA and store in NFA two copies of the work for duplication price (if he did not receive contribution for the work production from State fund of the Czech Republic for support and development of the Czech cinematography).

§ 7
(1) Producer of Czech audiovisual work is obliged to offer in written to archive to buy two new undamaged copies of Czech audiovisual work namely within 60 days from its first public screening. Price is negotiated according to price orders.
(2) Limit for proposal adoption for purchase agreement conclusion is according to the par. 1 six months from the day of offer delivery. If the Archive does not accept the proposal for purchase agreement conclusion in this term, the proposal will expire and the duty of offer is consider as fulfilled according to the par. 1. About this fact is the archive obliged to give a written confirmation to the person who gave the offer within seven days at the latest. Content of the confirmation must exclude the possibility of change of subject of the duty of offer.
(3) Producer of Czech audiovisual work created using Fund contributions is obliged give cost free to Archive a sample of undamaged copy of Czech audiovisual work for archiving within 60 days from its first public screening.
(4) Assignment of copy ownership of Czech audiovisual work according to par. 1 and 3 Archive does not assume a right publicly use these copies. By this is not affect the provision of § 6 par. 2.
(5) Duty according to par. 1 and 3 it does not affect audiovisual works produced by Česká televize (Czech broadcasting TV) only for TV broadcasting dissemination purposes.

V § 7 par. 1:
(1) Producer of the Czech audiovisual work is obliged to give a written offer to Archive to buy two new undamaged copies of Czech audiovisual work in a quality of first record and written and advert materials of this work within 60 days from the day of its public screening. In case that the Archive is interested in is the producer of the Czech audiovisual work obliged to offer for sale one duplicate and one copy of Czech audiovisual work and written and advert materials to this work.
Present note below the line No.12 is cancelled.
In the § 7 par. 3 including note below line No. 13 is:
(3) Producer of the Czech audiovisual work created using Fund contributions is obliged to give cost free to the Archive sample of undamaged copy of Czech audiovisual work or its duplicate in first record quality for archiving within 60 days from its public screening.
CONTRACTUAL DEPOT
Voluntary deposit - contractual storing of duplicating materials:
Based on the contract can individual producers store duplicating materials in NFA deposits. In deposits there is controlled temperature and humidity and so producers reduce the risk of damage of these materials by incorrect storing.

Producer of audiovisual work can offer to store in the Archive negative and duplicating materials on conditions agreed in the contract between him and the Archive.
