I am a film historian and curator. I studied film studies and Czech language and literature. Since 2002 I have been working at the Národní filmový archiv. Until 2012 I was mainly involved in the archive's Ponrepo cinema, then I focused on curatorial and cataloguing activities. My specialty is foreign feature films from the former USSR and Eastern Bloc countries. In addition, since 2018 I have been processing audiovisual materials from the Laterna Magika collection. In 2020 I strengthened the team of filmographers as a writer of texts for Filmový přehled. Occasionally, I engage in lecturing and teaching activities. I have contributed to several scholarly monographs, especially with studies on Soviet cinema.
