  • I am interested in the Czech film made in the period 1964 - 1991? - Turn to Ateliery Bonton Zlín (www.bonton.cz).
  • I am interested in the Czech film made after 1991? – Turn to private producers or the rights holders (www.ufd.cz, www.asociaceproducentu.cz).
  • I am interested in a film of foreign production? – Turn directly to the foreign producer or rights holders (you may find the information for instance at The Internet Movie Database, www.imdb.com). We archive the foreign materials only selectively, having no rights to them, i.e. we cannot provide them to any purposes.
  • I am interested in the Czech feature films till 1964 on DVD orVHS? –You will find them in ordinary distribution being published by Filmexport. You can order them also via internet at www.filmexport.cz. You will find here a catalogue of all films published by NFA, along with the information on their availability.

The EU project EFG – the European Film Gateway created a web portal that gives you quick and easy on-line access to currently about 400 000 digital objects – photos, posters, text documents, newsreels, feature films and documentaries – from collections of 16 European film archives and cinémathèques. One of them is Národní filmový archiv. By September 2011, the number of objects will increase to 600 000. See www.europeanfilmgateway.eu
